Photography is a way for me to capture fleeting moments; moments that make you pause and smile when you look back at a picture. I was originally inspired to start Salt Photography because as a Mom, I just never felt like I had any genuine pictures with my own children. I have a million pictures (maybe more) of them, my husband and my dogs, but I have so few of myself in the frame with them; playing, loving, snuggling. I knew there must be other moms out there who feel the same way. I wanted to be able to provide clients with pictures that encompass the enormous love that comes with having children. Of course I love photographing all sorts of relationships, and finding the beauty within each one, but Motherhood photography will always have a special place deep in my heart.
